Keywords: ,

Temperature is one of the important elements of sterilization (sterilization four elements: temperature, pressure, time, water flow), the thermometer is the eye of the sterilization pot. Each sterilizing pot, at least a glass mercury thermometer, marking the scale requires no more than 3.7 ° C per 10mm, that is, 1 ° C is greater than 2.7m, the indexing value can be clearly read to 0.5 ° C. The temperature range should fully meet the sterilization temperature requirements used, generally installed on the sterilization pot in line with the standard 80-135℃ glass mercury thermometer, used to indicate and check the sterilization temperature.

Mercury thermometer for sterilization retort selection criteria:

01. Easy to read: the distance of each 1℃ temperature is quite long, easy to read, and can reduce the reading error;

02. Correctable: the position of the reading plate of the thermometer can be adjusted according to the actual temperature, especially according to the fixed point sterilization temperature calibration;

03. Easy to adjust: the orientation of the thermometer panel can be rotated within 360°, which can fix the orientation of the thermometer in the most suitable position for the operator to observe.

04. Easy to replace: When the mercury column is damaged, the glass mercury column can be replaced separately, which can reduce the fixed investment.

   About the sterilization pot mercury thermometer enterprise management:

   1. Calibration frequency: Mercury thermometer requires that its accuracy is no problem at any time, corrected at least once a year, and some companies   have strict requirements, corrected once every six months.

   2. Calibration records: Each thermometer should have a good inspection record: including the date of the last correction accuracy, the standard used  and   the inspection personnel, etc., these records should be kept for at least three years.
